Wayne is a life-long woodworker. He started building projects at the age of twelve and his love of the craft was honed when he started classes with a gifted shop teacher in junior high and high school. A visit to Shaker Village in Pleasant Hill, KY peaked his interest in Shaker furniture. He has continued to develop his love of simple lines through the building of Shaker reproduction furniture. During the day Wayne is a Fire Inspector and that sustains the needs of life but woodworking is his love and passion and that satisfies all other aspects of life.
He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Wayne builds toys, furniture and other wants and wishes of his wife, children and grandchildren.
